The Great Composer Quiz – September 4, 2020
Time’s up, pencils down, the Great Composer who rode bikes with his wife, took a trip up the Amazon (this was after his wife had died), and in 1898 he wrote a tune for his favorite football team, the Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The answer is Edward Elgar. When word came that he had been knighted, Elgar hopped on his Sunbeam and rode to his father’s home to tell him.
